Love is a funny little feeling
It fills me up with a warmth like no other.
Their voices and laughter are like music to me
Gently kindling my heart.
As I listen to them I close my eyes
And hold on to their image tightly
Printing them on the back of my mind.
I find pleasure in the smallest of gestures,
In the little moments we share.
They are not many – I must confess
But even so they are enough.
Enough to lighten up my spirit
And make me smile,
Bringing back the sun from behind thick clouds.
Recorded in Pavia, Italy during 2020 winter.
